About Us

Our company is a locally owned and operated family business serving Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Inland Elevator was founded by three brothers in October, 2010. We have nearly 50 years of combined elevator experience as well as an additional 25 years of military experience maintaining electromechanical systems. We are a 100% Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) recognized at a State and Federal level.

While working for the larger companies in the Spokane area, we recognized an opportunity to provide better service, at a lower price to local businesses. In October of 2010, we decided to strike out on our own and pursue the "American Dream." Over the last 10 years, our company has gained customers all over Washington State and North Idaho. As a small independent company, we are highly adaptive, knowledgable and provide excellent customer support. As a local company, we are dedicated to providing honest, flexible service for other business owners in our area. Thank you for your interest in our company. We look forward to serving you!

As a mechanic for one of the larger companies, he excelled in all aspects of this trade. Dan is experienced in Construction, Service, Repair, Modernization and advanced troubleshooting. Dan enjoys mountain biking, backcountry snowboarding, teaching/mentoring and working in his shop on various projects.

Ben Garrett - Owner, Mechanic, Modernization & Installation Manager

Ben entered the elevator trade after 8.5 years in the US Coast Guard as an Electricians Mate (EM). He advanced quickly based on his comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems and his dedication to his rate. He was hand picked to assist in the construction of the electrical systems on the USCGC Healy (WAGB-20) and was eventually stationed on this state of the art Ice Breaker. Ben's electrical skills, paired with his mechanical abilities allowed him to excel as an elevator apprentice. As an elevator mechanic at Inland Elevator, Ben is exceptionally skilled in the field while also managing Modernization and Installation. Ben enjoys riding his Harley, golfing and snowboarding whenever possible.

Josh Garrett - Owner, Mechanic, Administration
